We know what getting up at 5A.M. on a cold morning tastes like. We know that insidious little voice. We ignore it too. We know what it is to start a workout when you’re not feeling it and we know the feeling of finishing it strong anyway. Excuses are for other people. That’s why we make the products we make the way we make them. We use them. They’re made to go where we go, wherever we go. And they’re designed to endure all that we endure and then some.
We know everyday athletes because that’s exactly who we are. And we don’t accept excuses.
I train because it's free therapy, a massive sense of community and accomplishment, and it keeps me mentally and physically younger. As a stay-at-home Mom with some Type A qualities of needing to constantly do things, training for an Ironman keeps me motivated and excited about what's next."

These days, with everything else going on, I get up early to train just to capture a little bit of the old glory. To prove to myself that I can still do it, and dream about someday, before I’m too old, going back for some more of that old glory. If I sleep in today, all I'm doing is putting that off longer. That don’t cut it.

"All days are better that start with a morning run. I do it to meet goals and prepare myself for my next race. I like to see the world each morning and experience its beauty and ruggedness; to clear my brain."

"Having spent the last 22 years as a pharmaceutical executive in R&D, healthcare and by default fitness have always been an important part of my business and life. But balancing 3 kids, a demanding career which takes me all over the world and finding time to actually get fit and stay fit have always been my challenge. Over the last 18 months I have turned my occasional workout to a well planned fitness regimen."

I am a very competitive person by nature, and I always feel the drive to challenge myself physically and compete. However, the most important reason I run is the increased brain function. I have struggled with attention issues in the past, but I was able to combat it by running. I operate at a much higher level mentally when I run, which is why getting out of bed at 5AM is no problem for me. Understanding the benefits of your training makes motivating yourself to do it is much easier”
